Prayer

I just got back from a teen youth retreat where the subject was prayer. Past retreats have been spent on the theological side of prayer, but this one was spent actually praying. In the first session, we focused mainly on the character or attributes of God. We spent the better part of an hour praising God. The second session was spent in private prayer as opposed to prayer in groups. We spent the third session in groups petitioning God for our need as well as thanking Him for what we have recieved. I felt it was all very beneficial.

Are you going to post anything else? One post can get boring after awhile.

Really, buddy. You should do more than one post. What's the point of only having one post?

You should update your blog. One entry isn't enough to satisfy people's curiosity.

I totally agree. If you have only one post, we'll have to leave comments on the same one every time, and it will look like we really like the subject. I do like the topic of this post, but I think that pretty soon the next retreat is going to happen, and everyone will be going, "I didn't know the retreat was about prayer. I agree that it was "beneficial," but I think that there was a different topic. Prayer was the topic of the last retreat!"
